At least that's what 1Up says.
(The skinny guy says "like" a lot, erg..)
I definitely want to check out Hotel Dusk: Room 215. I love how the story and art is straight out of a detective crime novel; you even have to hold the DS like a book! Definitely very innovative, I haven't seen a game like this. Hopefully I can find it for less than $35 though...
(3 months and 65 hours later, I finally beat Okami. You want the best PS2 game ever? PLAY OKAMI.)

Agreed, I think this game is going to surprise people. I was talking to a friend today who was at Best Buy and he's going through the 360 games, PS3 games, etc and I'm like dude, the only game right now worth buying that you don't have is in the DS section. Then he went and bought 99 Nights for 20 bucks :( hehe

I love the idea and the innovation. I feel that this type of game can't really capture anymore than a small niche of the American market. These kind of games do very well in Japan though. And interestingly, even though I love a good story and a solid RPG, I don't feel like this game would hold my attention with the slow font and pacing. I usually use my DS when I have a few minutes to kill, and this definitely isn't something to just whip out for a tick.
