I Am 8-Bit Gallery Opening

Oh, to live in LA and be in the center of it all. Every year there is a fantastic art exhibition called I Am 8-Bit that celebrates video game geekdom in all its beautiful glory. This year's opening was a few days ago, and from what I've read it was packed to the point of suffocation ^_^ It's refreshing to see that us video game nerds are doing more than sitting on couches glued to the TV; we are also sniffing paint fumes and making psychedelic interpretations of what we are playing! I wish there was more variation in games that were represented, but then again, I'm not churning out any art so I'm not one to talk. Destructoid has the rest of the gallery up on their website, head over there to check out more of the works.
