Almost Real-Life Initial D Arcade

I'll admit, I don't know much about Initial D other than that it's an anime, and it has an arcade game and a trancetastic soundtrack. But I do know that the cars in the game are super sweet, and people get obsessed over them. Well, good news for those people (that live in Japan): new Initial D arcade games set up in Odaiba, Japan, feature the bodies of actual cars rather than the usual wheel-and-pedals fare. For ¥600 (US $5), players can race down one of the three in-game courses in a Subaru Impreza WRX, Toyota GT-APEX or a Mazada RX-7. Damn. Too bad arcades aren't popular in the US, because you know something like that will never make its way over here :(
